When I am not in school, my favorite past time is watching anything that has to do with basketball (preferably college), baseball, and football. I also spend a lot of my free time watching ESPN. I don't know what I would do without that channel. After my college graduation, I took up the game of golf. With having my summers off, most of my days are spent on the links. In college I played 3 years of basketball and 1 year of baseball. I played 2 years of hoops at Worthington Community College. In my sophomore year, we went to the National Junior College Athletic Championship in Delhi, New York. It was an experience that I will never forget, nor will the guys I played with on that team. and 1 year at Dakota State University. I also participated in baseball while I was at DSU. During my final year at Dakota State, the Women's Basketball Coach Jeff Dittman, asked me to be an assistant to his program. It was a great honor for me to help the team. Here is a picture of our coaching staff at the NAIA National Tournament in Sioux City. I also enjoy reading and to my knowledge, I have read all of the autobiographies of Larry Bird. Personally, I feel that he is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. That is just my opinion, so don't be upset if you don't agree. I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan even though they can cause stress in my life every fall. My favorite basketball team growing up was the Boston Celtics of the 80's. I am now moving towards the Timberwolves, and the Gophers of the college area. After visiting the University of Kansas for a coaches clinic, I have currently found myself following their program very closely. Until you are in an atmosphere of a top rated Division 1 school, you don't see how professional everyone on the campus is.
