In the summer of 2002, I participated in TTL, which stands for Teachers & Technology in Learning. We spent a month at the Middle School, which made time feel like it was stopped for about 9 hours. We had to create a "Unit of Study" for the class.

We did eat very well though. Business' in town were generous enough to donate food, pop, napkins, plates, veggie platters and all kinds of snack food. It was awesome.

While there, we formed teams for our weekly contests. The first week we drew pictures on the sidewalk. We got hosed in this contest. I was hot over that one for about 3 days. The 2nd week we did a Scavenger Hunt around Winner. The 3rd week we had an "Amazing Race" game. We were given a clue to go to a business, get the next clue, as well as a picture of the group proving that we were there.

The group name was "Lick-ity Split Lime". Our name was developed on the chance that if we were a color, what would our name be.

This is Ronda. She teaches English and Spanish in Gregory and is the MVP of our team.

This is Rose. She teaches music in Jones County which is a jaunt to get here.

This is Jaime. She is originally from Winner, but now teaches in Gregory.

Boy this was fun!!!!

These are the new golf balls we got for being in TTL. All of the women got plants.

The sites listed below are websites that I happened to run into in TTL this summer. I was amazed at how many websites are out there for stuff you are looking for, yet they haven't been updated for almost 4 years.

http://www.soundamerica.com This is a great sound if you want to put background sounds, on your page. They have a huge selection of movies, cartoons, themes, TV shows, and comedians. My personal favorite would either be Adam Sandler sounds from his movies, or Beavis and Butt-head.

http://sounds.wavcentral.com/ This is another site for wav. files. There may be more choices of movies and TV shows here.

http://www.musicrobot.com This website plays MIDI files.
